We started our journey back in 2015 for our first wedding and well since then we have been hooked and loved capturing them ever since. We are a Husband and Wife team recently married ourselves in October 2021. We have a studio based in Leigh on Sea, Essex originally we mainly focused on a 50 mile radius. However, we are happy to announce as from 2020 we now travel all over England & Wales and even Abroad at request.

So how do we work on your day? Our aim to be with you every step of your magical day capturing the emotions and storytelling from start to finish. Our style is documentary with a touch of portraiture. We primarily shoot with natural lighting throughout the day until late evening before using flash. Both myself (Sophia) and Ashley will capture your special day and unlike others we do not charge an additional fee for us both being there. Unless in the case Ashley is recording your special day in that case I (Sophia) will be your soul photographer and we can then offer an additional photographer at an extra cost should you wish. The best thing about there being two of us? Different perspectives. We both shoot from different angles with different lenses on throughout the day meaning you have two different perspectives and styles. All images are then edited by myself (Sophia) this is so there is a clean consistent edit on all images from the day.

One of our many compliments and comments that we receive from our couples is how calm and relaxed they feel around us. Let’s face it weddings are a big day and it’s completely natural for nerves and excitement to be rife. But we like to take the stress and keep things calm and create a relaxed atmosphere best we can. Before your special day we will have numerous meetings or calls to run through plans and ideas. We will have a clear list of timings and requests for any special images that you may want on the big day. We don’t like to pressure or be pushy about timings and having photo’s done after all it’s your special day to enjoy.

A good photograph is one that communicates a fact, touches the heart, and leaves the viewer a changed person for having seen it. It is, in a word, effective.
